The information we present in this section explains how Bound4Sound collects, uses and manages your personal information. Bound4Sound is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Please read this Policy carefully to understand why and how we collect data from you and how it will be used.

What is personal data?

Under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC), “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”). An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. There is no list of personal data, and the GDPR does not require States to make such a list, for the simple reason that a data may become personal data in one context and in another context simply be information without personal data value.

The purpose of data collection is: informing customers about the status of their account on www.bound4sound.ro, informing customers about the progress and status of orders, evaluation of products and services offered, commercial activities, promotion of products and services, marketing , administrative services, development, market research, statistics, tracking and monitoring of sales and consumer behavior. We collect data that can accurately identify a person, absolutely necessary for placing an order and carrying out the contract (order confirmation, invoicing, delivery, warranties and service). These data are: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone and addresses and invoicing/delivery data. This data will be filled in by the visitor who wishes to open an account and/or place an order. We collect anonymous data, transmitted by the browser with which each visitor browses bound4sound.co.uk. This anonymized personal data is collected through cookie files that any visited website places in the visitor’s browser. Through this data Ekastudio Sound cannot exactly identify the person, but it is necessary for analysis and advertising.

The data collected through these cookies are: IP address, location, device and browser from which the website is browsed, date and time of website use. We collect and use personal data to the extent permitted by law or if we have received the consent of our visitor or customer. We collect personal data in order to analyze site navigation, identify blur points and improve the bound4sound.co.uk visitor experience. On the basis of this analysis, we will make changes to the site, improve the portfolio, improve the targeting of offers, and do our best to ensure that visitors get the best experience on www.bound4sound.ro.

The right of access to personally identifiable data and the right to intervene on personally identifiable data are both permitted to the customer 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, in his customer account. The bound4sound.co.uk customer account is the customer’s personal space, where the customer can fill in or change his/her personal data as he/she wishes, after logging in with his/her own email address and password.If a customer declares data incorrectly, it is his/her responsibility to correct it. Of course, bound4sound.ro operators will do their best to contact the customer in case they notice an error in the data provided (incorrect email address or non-existent delivery address) but the final responsibility for the correctness of the data remains with the customer.

Withdrawal of consent to process personal data

If a customer who has initially given consent to data processing wishes to withdraw this consent, they may do so by sending a message to office@bound4sound.ro notifying us of the deletion of their account. The message should be sent from the email address with which the account for which the processing consent is being withdrawn was created. The bound4sound.ro operators will make the requested changes as soon as possible and without undue delay. If the processing consent is withdrawn, the data registered in the account in question will no longer be visible to the bound4sound.ro operators and they will obviously no longer be able to provide any information related to the account.

By logging into the Registration or Quick Order form you declare that you unconditionally accept that your personal data will be included in Ekastudio Sound’s database and you consent to all such personal data being stored, used and processed by Ekastudio Sound in marketing activities to promote products and services. By reading these Terms and Conditions you are aware that you are guaranteed the rights provided by law, namely the right to information, the right of access to data, the right of intervention, the right to object, the right not to be subject to an individual decision, the right to apply to the courts in case of violation of his rights guaranteed by Law 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. At the same time, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to request their total or partial erasure. The information you provide to us will be used for the purpose for which you have provided it, to administer, support and evaluate our services and to prevent breaches of security, the law and our contractual terms.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

“Third parties” are entities other than Ekastudio Sound with whom we interact. Ekastudio Sound does not transmit personal data of its customers to you except to those entities that are absolutely necessary for the fulfillment for the performance of the contract or for advertising purposes for portfolio development. Personal data may also be passed on to public authorities if they so request. Here are the “third parties” we work with and the reasons why we may transmit personal data to them: the courier companies that transport the orders placed online on bound4sound.ro, for the fulfillment of the contractual obligation of delivery. The data transmitted to the couriers are identifiable data for the fulfillment of the contract with the exception of the email address, online marketing service providers (e.g. Google, Facebook) for advertising. The data transmitted to these companies are those that cannot specifically identify the individual and the authorized state bodies, on the basis of an express request made by them and within the limits of the legal provisions in force.

IMPORTANT! Payment by credit card: Bound4Sound DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS to the credit card data used to pay for an online order. At the time of payment, the customer is redirected, via a secure connection, directly to the bank’s website where the card is processed.

Online by bank card through EuPlatesc (Visa/Maestro/Mastercard).

If you choose the “Online by bank card” payment option, you will be redirected to the secure page of the payment processor where you will fill in a form with your card information.

– Payments with credit/debit cards issued under Visa and MasterCard (Visa/Visa Electron and MasterCard/Maestro) are made through the “3-D Secure” system developed by the Visa/MasterCard card organizations, which provides the same level of security for online transactions as for those made at an ATM or in a physical environment at the merchant.

– “3-D Secure” primarily ensures that no information related to your card is transferred or stored at any point in time on the online store’s servers.
